We mic every main and rod journal, record sizes, and check taper/oval. We verify runout and perform crack detection. Then we grade each unit as standard or regrind-ready. Finally, we oil, cap, and box the crank for safe transport.

Machine-Shop & Build Notes

Measure housing bores and set bearing clearances to spec. Replace main/rod bearings and the rear main seal during assembly. Because N20s often suffer timing wear, consider a full timing kit and an oil-pump chain while the sump is off. Prime the oil system before first start, and use fresh 5W-30/5W-40 with an OE filter.
